National Privacy Principles

The National Privacy Principles established by the Privacy Act 1988 apply to Itrac Resources Pty Ltd.

Candidate Information submitted and obtained from the Candidate and other sources in connection with applications for work

Work performance, Qualifications, Test Results

Information submitted and obtained in relation to absences from work due to leave, illness or other causes

Any other information obtained by us in connection with your possible work placements.

Purposes for which We Hold Personal Information:

We collect personal information for our primary purpose of securing either a contract assignment or permanent employment for you.

How does ITRAC collect personal information?:

We obtain most of your information from you directly, such as: when you submit an application to apply for our services; each time we have contact with you via telephone, email, facsimile or personal meeting. Information from third parties, specifically references, will be collected with your prior consent.

How does ITRAC hold your personal information?:

We hold your personal information in a combination of computer storage facilities and paper based files and other records. These facilities and records are securely located on site at our offices.

Disclosures

We may disclose your personal information for the purposes for which it is primarily held or for a related secondary purpose.

In some cases we may only disclose information with your consent. We may disclose your personal information where we are under a legal duty to do so, including circumstances where we are under a lawful duty of care to disclose information.

Accuracy

We take all reasonable efforts to ensure that your details are correct. If your personal information changes please contact us and we will update the information. We may also contact you from time to time to verify whether information is still accurate.

You can apply for access to your information provided it does not interfere with the privacy rights of other persons or where it is exempt by law. A request for access to the personal information we hold about you should be sent in writing to:

A moderate fee may be charged for the supply of your information. We will not charge you simply because you lodge a request for access.

We will deal with your request for access to personal information within a reasonable time.
